Being involved from the very start allowed the integration team at Macbee to collaborate closely with the design and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) teams on this extensively automated, CEDIA award-winning smart home project in India. Aside from a few electrical contractors who handled the high-voltage wiring, the entire installation was managed in-house by Macbee, covering everything from AV, lighting and shading to HVAC and security—along with the control and automation systems that tie it all together. All of this was supported by a robust, reliable network of Kordz cabling. The functionality of this smart home went beyond scheduled or push-button automation routines. An advanced network of data-capturing sensors enabled a higher level of automation, relying on Kordz cabling to ensure fast, reliable transmission of signals between the sensors and the automation systems.
