Winning two awards at the CEDIA EMEA Awards, including Best Global Cinema, this project titled ‘The Expanse’ exemplifies the pinnacle of expertise, design, and craftsmanship needed to build a home cinema in a challenging, limited space. To meet the high expectations of a movie enthusiast, systems integration firm Cinema Lusso went to extraordinary lengths. The client, a CEO of an engineering company, described the project as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fulfill his dream, making it essential for Cinema Lusso to chase down every ounce of performance to create something truly special. “The system needed to deliver an immersive audio experience, meeting or exceeding the recommended performance levels for commercial cinemas,” says Cinema Lusso technical director Ben Goff. A key element in achieving this was Kordz speaker cabling. Connecting a Trinnov Altitude audio processor to Wisdom speakers, the cabling brought the audio to life, delivering all the emotion and effects of the original production.
